Meet Your Provider

Hi, I'm Hallick!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I work with children, teens, and adults who are looking for thoughtful, respectful support around their mental health. My role is to help people better understand what they’re experiencing, explore whether medication may be helpful, and build a plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and centered on their goals.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I care deeply about creating a space where people feel safe being honest about who they are and what they need. I know that feeling understood in healthcare matters, and I try to bring that awareness into every part of the work.

What It's Like to Work Together

My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and human. I explain options in plain language, make space for questions, and work with you to build a treatment plan that feels realistic and supportive.

Appointments are available by telehealth and in person, and care is designed to feel respectful, affirming, and grounded in your real life. True Self Mental Health provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management, but does not offer stand-alone talk therapy or couples counseling.

Meet The Office Support Crew

Natty, Office Supervisor

Natty is my sassy feline sidekick and the unofficial mascot of my virtual practice. Natty has a big personality, a strong opinion about snack time, and a deep love for both ice cream and sour cream (yes, really).

You’ll often find Natty napping in the background during appointments, occasionally chiming in with a well-timed tail flick or side-eye. Natty takes her relaxation seriously, but is also an expert in emotional support—quietly reminding us all to rest, indulge a little, and take life a bit less seriously.

George, Intern

George is the younger brother of the office and proudly wears the title of “needy but endearing.” George is vocal (dramatic at times), full of big feelings, and always ready to jump into the conversation—especially if it means getting more attention.

Unlike Natty, George prefers to be front and center during appointments, occasionally meowing opinions or attempting to walk across the keyboard. George is affectionate, clingy in the cutest way, and convinced the world revolves around him (he’s not entirely wrong).
