Hallick Lehmann (He/Him)

MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Hi, I’m Hallick. I’m a gay psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and I provide affirming psychiatric evaluations and medication management for kids, teens, adults, and allies.

My work is especially focused on LGBTQ+ mental health, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related symptoms, and the exhaustion that can come from constantly filtering who you are.

My approach is collaborative, transparent, and human. I explain medication options, benefits, risks, side effects, and alternatives in plain language so we can make decisions together. Medication is not about changing who you are. It is about helping your nervous system feel supported enough for you to live more like yourself.

Sessions are virtual, secure, and designed to feel respectful and real. You can expect warmth, directness, respect for your name and pronouns, and care that treats your identity as part of the foundation, not a side note.

What It's Like to Work Together

In our first appointment, we will talk about what has been going on, what has helped or not helped in the past, your goals for care, your health history, and whether medication could be useful. You will have space to ask questions, and you will not be pressured into a medication decision.

Follow-up visits are used to check in on symptoms, side effects, progress, and whether your plan still fits your life.

True Self may be a good fit if you are looking for:

  • LGBTQ+-affirming psychiatric care

  • Medication support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related symptoms, or sleep concerns

  • A psychiatric provider who respects your name, pronouns, identity, and lived experience

  • Telehealth appointments from home

True Self Mental Health provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management. We do not provide stand-alone talk therapy or couples counseling. Many clients work with both a therapist and a psychiatric provider, and we are happy to coordinate care when appropriate.

Meet The Office Support Crew

Natty, True Self Mental Health cat, helping LGBTQ+ clients feel seen

Natty, Office Supervisor

Natty is my sassy feline sidekick and the unofficial mascot of my virtual practice. Natty has a big personality, a strong opinion about snack time, and a deep love for both ice cream and sour cream (yes, really).

You’ll often find Natty napping in the background during appointments, occasionally chiming in with a well-timed tail flick or side-eye. Natty takes her relaxation seriously, but is also an expert in emotional support—quietly reminding us all to rest, indulge a little, and take life a bit less seriously.

George, Emotional Support Intern

George is the younger brother of the office and proudly wears the title of “needy but endearing.” George is vocal (dramatic at times), full of big feelings, and always ready to jump into the conversation—especially if it means getting more attention.

Unlike Natty, George prefers to be front and center during appointments, occasionally meowing opinions or attempting to walk across the keyboard. George is affectionate, clingy in the cutest way, and convinced the world revolves around him (he’s not entirely wrong).
